              มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์มีปริมาณการใช้ไฟฟ้าที่สูงขึ้นในทุกๆปี จึงมีการรณรงค์ให้บุคลากร นักศึกษา ตลอดจนผู้มาติดต่อ ใช้ไฟฟ้าอย่างประหยัดโดยมีการจัดทำโครงการประกวดออกแบบสติกเกอร์เพื่อรณรงค์การลดใช้พลังงานภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ประจำปี 2567 โครงการระบบการบริหารคุณภาพ ISO 9001 และให้ความรู้เรื่องการอนุรักษ์พลังงาน โดยพบว่าในระยะเวลา 2 ปีที่ผ่านมาคือ ปี 2566-2567 นั้น การใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าทั้งหมดของมหาวิทยาลัย เฉลี่ยอยู่เดือนละ 1,823,515 บาท หลังจากมีการรณรงค์ให้ความรู้กับนักศึกษาและบุคลากร และนำพลังงานทดแทนในรูปแบบต่างๆมาประยุกต์ใช้ทำให้ค่าไฟฟ้าในปี 2567 ลดลงอย่างเห็นได้ชัดเหลือจาก 18,857,236.30 บาท เป็น 17,308,198 บาทเท่านั้น โดยมีสัดส่วนการใช้ไฟฟ้าต่อจำนวนประชากรของวิทยาเขตอยู่ที่ 1,437 : 1

Buriram Rajabhat University has a higher electricity consumption every year. Therefore, there is a campaign for staff, students, and visitors to use electricity economically by organizing a sticker design contest to campaign for energy reduction within the university in 2024, an ISO 9001 quality management system project, and providing knowledge on energy conservation. It was found that in the past 2 years, 2023-2024, the university’s total electricity consumption averaged 1,823,515 baht per month. After the campaign to educate students and staff and the introduction of various forms of renewable energy, the electricity bill in 2024 was significantly reduced from 18,857,236.30 baht to only 17,308,198 baht. The ratio of electricity consumption to the campus population was 1,437:1.
